Here's some good news for all Gävle residents: Just in time for spring, Niemi Bil – the company with Sweden's biggest heart for cars – is opening its first store in Gästrikland!
The new facility will have space for a large selection of used cars in all price ranges, and will be located on Kryddstigen in Hemlingby. In the longer term, the idea is to develop the establishment into a full-service facility with, among other things, its own workshop.
"It feels fantastic to open in Gävle, then we can truly call ourselves a Norrland company, when we are basically located from the northernmost to the southernmost Norrland. We really hope that all Gävle residents will feel very welcome!"
The facility is expected to open in April and staff recruitment is now in full swing. Inside, work is underway at full speed to get the premises ready, something that suits Niemi Bil's CEO, Eric Wallin, like a glove.
"It's always fun times when you open a new facility, and busy but fun days getting all the recruitment together and filling the car showroom with really good cars. So we're really looking forward to Gävle now, and hope we can get as good a start as Brynäs has in the SHL!"
Several Gävle residents have already bought their car from Niemi Bil, either from the nearby facility in Uppsala, or online with home delivery all over Sweden. But soon there will be even more opportunities to make a good deal than through distance shopping, as customers can stop by over a steaming cup of coffee and look at cars in person.
Niemi Bil is a family business with roots in the northernmost part of Norrland, and with the goal of offering high service, friendly service, and above all: ordinary cars for ordinary people. Gävle will be the eighth facility for Niemi Bil, which has previously been located in Kiruna, Skellefteå, Umeå, Uppsala and in Luleå where it all began once upon a time.
