Niemi Bil is now opening its doors in Uppsala when a new purchasing office opens in February. The aim is to gain access to new markets for purchasing – and to be able to offer an even wider range to customers.
– Uppsala is as big as the whole of Norrbotten if we look at the number of people who live here. If we also include Stockholm and other municipalities, we get access to a huge new market that all our customers can take advantage of, says Kim Niemi, co-owner.
Starting up is William Larsson, who will be the first on site as Buyer for the Uppsala region, but who is a familiar face to Luleå customers already.
– During my years in northern Sweden here at Niemi Bil, I have gained a good feel for which cars and equipment customers want, which we can use when purchasing from here, says William Larsson, who will be Buyer at the new office.

It opens up access to more types of cars, also as behaviors and car choices differ in different parts of the country.
– In larger cities, many people change cars frequently – and given the trends of recent years, this opens up the opportunity for significantly more used electric cars and plug-in hybrids as well, says William.
A growing trend is online car shopping and home deliveries – something that Niemi Bil views positively in connection with the opening.
– Today, about a third of all the business we do is home deliveries – and then we deliver all over Sweden. It is clear that Uppsala is interesting from that point of view as well, with shorter distances to many parts of the country. We simply hope to be able to offer even better and faster service going forward, concludes Kim Niemi.
William sees the opportunity to purchase more used electric cars and plug-in hybrids with the new purchasing office, something that more and more customers are asking for.
Niemi Car buying in and sells used cars nationwide with home delivery. Car dealerships are located locally in Luleå, Umeå and Skellefteå.
