Is 63 km enough on electricity?
The vast majority of everyday trips are 30-50 km. This is where a plug-in hybrid shines as you can very often drive on electricity here. Then you have the petrol engine for all longer distances.
Think about whether that's enough for you!
Yes, you can drive in hybrid mode (mixes both electricity and gasoline) or in EV mode (runs only on electricity).
There is also a Sport mode where both engines are used at full power simultaneously, giving 0-100 in 5.8 seconds.
Simply put, you can count on a consumption per mile of approximately SEK 4.50 when you drive on electricity.
If you currently drive your everyday journeys on Diesel, you can reduce your consumption by up to 75%. (Depends on your car today and consumption of course)
The CX-60 consumes electricity about 3-4 kWh per mileThis means that you drive for approximately SEK 4.50 per mile (with an average over recent electricity prices).
If you drive only on gasoline, it is around 0.7-0.8 l / mile. Which is also good for a large SUV with four-wheel drive. Also considering the engines that have a combined output of 327 hp.
With regular AC charging, it takes about 2.5-3 hours to fully charge the battery. So whether you charge at home or at work, you're always ready to go with a full battery – even if you only charged in the morning until lunch.
The car has really good cargo space. The luggage compartment has a volume of 570 liters, which is larger than, for example, the Volvo XC60.
The car can be ordered with a towbar. The towing weight is 2,500 kg, which is really high for a plug-in hybrid.
