The BMW 5 Series is the brand's large mid-range car and is available as a sedan and as a Touring estate. It is a classic company car with a quiet cabin, comfortable seats and plenty of space in the back seat, and the Touring has around 570 liters of luggage space.
The designations 520, 525, 530 and 540 indicate power levels, where i stands for petrol, d for diesel and e for plug-in hybrid, and the 530e can handle shorter commutes on electricity alone. The top version M5 is a completely different car, with a V8 or V10 depending on the generation and up to 600 hp. A used BMW 5 Series is basically rear-wheel drive, often with xDrive all-wheel drive on later Swedish-sold cars.
