The hatchback, also known as the Hatchback, is a smaller car model that combines the features of a sedan and a regular station wagon. The rule of thumb is usually that you get the functionality of a station wagon - spacious, family-friendly and safe - but in a smaller model. The hatchback models have a shorter luggage space, but meet all the criteria that a hatchback possesses.
